Flue gas treatment
Studybel develops flue gas treatment projects in coordination with Leroux & Lotz Technologies, Studybel’s sister company within the Boccard Group and a specialist in energy and combustion technologies. Together, they design and implement complete Air Pollution Control (APC) systems that support environmental compliance objectives and the operational reliability of industrial facilities.
As part of an integrated EPC approach with Leroux & Lotz Technologies and Boccard, Studybel contributes to every stage of a project lifecycle, from performance specifications to commissioning, for new facilities, complex retrofits and upgrades. This includes the management of critical interfaces such as reagent handling, residue management, process integration, mechanical constraints, regulatory requirements and operational conditions.
Our Air Pollution Control (APC) solutions
1. Dust removal / particulate control
Studybel designs custom dust collection systems, including multicyclones, electrostatic precipitators, baghouse filters and hybrid solutions, to achieve demanding particulate emission objectives while taking account of operational constraints and regulatory requirements.
2. Acid gas treatment
Studybel deploys dry and semi-dry neutralisation systems designed for efficiency, flexibility and operational robustness. These systems can integrate reagent handling, including sodium bicarbonate, hydrated lime and activated carbon, as well as residue management from storage to disposal.
3. Denitrification (DeNOx)
Reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) or SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), with an integrated approach covering the temperature window, process constraints, boiler interfaces and long-term operating requirements.
