Studybel’s flue gas treatment operations are conducted under the banner of Leroux & Lotz Technologies, a sister company of the Boccard Group and a specialist in energy and combustion technologies, enabling the design and implementation of comprehensive systems (Air Quality System – AQS) that ensure environmental compliance and the operational reliability of industrial facilities.

Our Air Quality System (AQS) solutions

1. Dust Removal

Studybel designs custom dust collection systems (multicyclones, electrostatic precipitators, bag filters, or hybrid solutions) that ensure very low emission levels—as low as 5 mg/Nm³—while meeting the most stringent operational constraints and regulatory requirements.

2. Flue gas treatment (FGT)

Studybel deploys dry and semi-wet neutralization systems recognized for their efficiency, flexibility, and operational reliability, incorporating the use of reagents (bicarbonate, lime, activated carbon) and residues—from storage through disposal—to ensure efficient and flexible filtration.

3. Denitrification (DeNOx)

Reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) using SNCR (Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction) or SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), with a comprehensive approach that takes into account the temperature range, process constraints, boiler interfaces, and long-term operational requirements.
